Wendy

Divert your missed calls to Wendy

The codes that send your unanswered and busy calls to her. Your number stays the same, and we do it with you on the setup call.

Your customers keep ringing the number they’ve always rung. When you don’t pick up, or you’re already on a call, your phone passes the call to Wendy. That’s a call divert, and every UK mobile can do it.

We do this with you on the 15-minute setup call. You don’t need to touch any of it. It’s here so you know exactly what we change.

Which calls go to her

We don’t divert every call. You still get first go at every one.

WhenWhat happens
No answerIt rings you first. If you don’t pick up, Wendy answers.
BusyYou’re already on a call. Wendy answers instead of call waiting.
Can’t reach youYour phone’s off or there’s no signal in the loft. Wendy answers.

The codes

Type each one into your phone’s keypad like a number, then press call. Use the number we give you for Wendy on your setup call. The examples below use a pretend number.

No answer**61*her number#**61*07700900123#
Busy**67*her number#**67*07700900123#
Can’t reach you**62*her number#**62*07700900123#

How long it rings before she answers

Most networks ring for around 15 to 20 seconds first. You can choose anything from 5 to 30 seconds, in steps of 5, by adding it to the end of the no answer code. This one rings for 20 seconds:

**61*her number**20#

Check or switch them off

  • Check where unanswered calls go: *#61#
  • Switch off the no answer divert: ##61#
  • Switch off every divert at once: ##002#

iPhone and Android

iPhone: the Call Forwarding switch in Settings sends every call away, before you get a chance to answer. Use the codes above instead, so you still get first go.

Android: most phones have the same three options in the Phone app’s settings, usually under Call forwarding or Supplementary services. The codes work too.

Your voicemail

Your no answer divert usually points at your voicemail. Pointing it at Wendy replaces that, so customers talk to her instead of a beep. If you ever stop, text her and we’ll help you put your voicemail back.

Networks

These are the standard codes and they work on most UK networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and the networks that run on them. Diverted calls usually come out of your normal minutes. If your network does anything different, we sort it on the setup call.
